End of 2015

I am excited who is our teacher next year. I am also excited being a year 6 next year and finding out what we are going to learn. We had our prizing giving and our farewell for Mrs Kingston , Mrs Curtis, Mrs German and Mrs Wright we are sad that they are leaving this school mostly Mrs Curtis because they have been here for a long time like for 21 years, the Samoan dance group preformed on the stage I was a little bit nervous . In Flox Class ,we had looked back what we had done in a few Terms. We had done a remember poem and I wrote about camp because that was my highlight.

Flox Class' kiwi christmas kindness calendar

In Flox class in a few weeks our learning focus is to do our kiwi Christmas kindness calendar.This is our kiwi  Christmas kindness calendar my number is 19.

WALT use precise nouns to add detail for our reader.

This week in writing we have been using precise nouns to make our writing more specific for the reader.

We took a paragraph and changed the nouns from general nouns to precise nouns.

Here is an example.

In the weekend I had to do lots of shopping with my Mum. We went to the shop burger king to g  some food frozen coke . We also went to look for a present for my cousin’s birthday. I had to choose between a doll  Barbie and a soft toy Minion. After that we went to the shop to buy some clothes, I got two new items pants and clothes and a pair of shoes Nike Because I had been so good, mum took me to the shop to buy an ice block  trumpet . Lucky me!

Cyber Smart: Consequences Map

Today we have been talking about Cyber smart. Mr Hopkins came into our class to talk about Cyber smart, we learnt more about it and what could you do if someone in your family had used your chrome book to look at inappropriate content. We wrote positive choices Neutral choices and Negative choices.
