Week 4 a day with Setoga class

Hello everyone, 

Yesterday some of Scott class people were split classes. Some of us went to room 8 and some were at room 9, I was at room 9 my highlight yesterday was writing about long jump because we actually had a try at doing it on the field the teacher that was in room 9 was Mr Mannering. He did the longest jump, my second highlight was reading we were reading story that was called missing we were trying to infer. We then did a sequence activity we wrote about the beginning middle and end. My last highlight is jump jam we did dynamite, We all had a lovely day in Room 9 Setoga Class. 

Learning Conversation

Hello everyone,
On Wednesday and Thursday we had our Learning conversations. We had learning conversation so we can share our learning with our families and teachers, we had Math, reading and writing goals and next steps we made a DLO to show our learning and our reports, we have copied our next steps that was on our reports on our learning conversation presentation.

Week 2 Dance

Kia Ora,
Today We had another dance session with the awsome Emily. First we played a game called follow the leader, we had three groups of people being the leader while we are dancing  Emily will shake the tambourine then the person at the front goes at the back then the second person will be the leader and they could choose to jump, skip, lunge, march, hopping, walking backwards. Then we played a game called heart beat, me had to lie down on our chest and cross our hands on each other and Emily put's on a song and we clap our hands in the beat.

Week 1 Dance

Kia Ora everyone,
Today we went over to the hall to have a dancing session with our lovely dancer Emily. We were learning how to choreograph a dance it was okay and a little bit hard but Emily helped me first we did the hokey Pokey dance after we played a game called freeze. Emily put on the song and we had to dance and when Emily say's to dance like the animals which are a monkey,cheater,bird and a turtle. When she say's one of the animals we all have to dance like the animals but when the songs say's freeze then we have to freeze like a straight line, snake, star,. We had to get into 3 groups then make a dance with your first letter of your name then we had to perform in my group was Cicilia and Vonairay.
